Something amazing happened last night, subhanallah :D Sister effendea and me got to meet a few other tumblr sisters last night, for the first time ever! By Allah’s Grace, we were united at a talk by Ustaz Usama Canon organised by Darul Arqam, Singapore. Alhamdulillah :) So here’s the story…
I was amongst many beautiful Muslimahs at the praying area, waiting for Maghrib. Picture this: I was all alone, the crowd was truly overwhelming, and almost everyone else was busy searching for a place to perform the prayers. Then, I saw a familiar-looking girl in white hijab standing in front of me. Allah knows why she turned behind just in time for me to lock eyes with her and instantaneously, I knew she’s sister burnoktober! Allah, Allah… ❤ ❤ ❤ The feeling was indescribable. We hugged each other and it was really heartwarming to finally meet the beautiful girl in person. The power and miracles of solat jemaah- it unites the Ummah, indeed! Masha Allah! ❤
After prayers, we parted ways after exchanging handphone numbers and I saw brother meyouseek from afar. Then, I sent a mass text to sister smileissadaqah (who was on duty that night as a volunteer), sister burnoktober & brother meyouseek to gather outside the building for a short while after the talk. Me and sister effendea were very excited and thrilled to see everyone already :) I had a gut feeling that sister pinkyou was at the talk but I had no means of contacting her. It’d be a wasted opportunity if I’d left her out, I thought. Contacted a mutual friend but I did not receive any response so I just prayed I would bump into sister pinkyou later. And true enough, sister pinkyou was already waiting with sister burnoktober outside the building! (By Allah’s Grace, they bumped into each other after the talk) MASHA ALLAH. SYUKUR ALHAMDULILLAH. We had a brief, impromptu meet-up together last night! Allahu Akbar! ❤ ❤ ❤
PS: Sadly, sister smileissadaqah is not in the picture because she had to leave earlier to attend some urgent matters. In the picture: me, effendea, burnoktober, pinkyou & effendea’s friend :)
