I like to question myself these in order to refrain myself from bad deeds & committing sins (insyaAllah):

“If I were to die right now, will I be tortured/punished in the grave?”

“Will I go to Paradise straight away or do I need to ‘stay’ temporarily in Hell?”

Usually, these thoughts come to me when I’m about to turn in at night.

Frightening hahah! xD

By the way, or BTW hahah!!, many Muslims are afraid of death, especially the moment when our soul is ‘pulled away’ by the angel, but if you were to think deeper, you will aware that you should be MUCH MORE afraid of hell, instead of that moment.

That moment lasts for how many seconds or minutes? But if you were to enter hell, how long will you stay there? 10 years? 100 years? Or more? So Dear Muslims, be afraid of hell!!! This should encourage us to do Good Deeds for Allah, for Paradise. (:
