Through Islam the mind was released from the chains of paganism until, finally, humanity realised its own nobility, then, humbled itself before its creator. Also, Islam has broken the shackles of racial and tribal hatred and it has freed the soul from bondage to the wills of others; be they men or hidden forces conjured up by fraudulent priests and fortune-tellers. All spiritual mediators and those seeking to control the wills of other would be removed from their pedestals, when humanity submits in servitude to Allah alone, without ascribing partners to Him.”
