…Oh Allah, the Most Kind and Merciful, the One who is ever Forgiving. I thank you deeply for letting me meet this holy month, this year. I admit that I could have done more - performed more sunnah prayers, read more Quran and avoid vain talks… Embarrassed, I seek your forgiveness, again and again, for my negligence. Oh Allah, I pray that you accept my petty ibadahs - petty when compared to the deeds of Sahabahs and Tabi’in - for if you don’t, I am most certainly one of those losers who get nothing from Ramadhan except hunger and thirst… Nonetheless, ya Ilahi, I pray to you that I am spared few more years to meet the future Ramadhan…
