Chapter 2: Al-Baqarah (The Cow), verse 216

”.. and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know.”

When we were kids, our parents brought us to the clinic when we fell sick. The doctors prescribed us some medicines then. As a kid, we didn’t like medicines at all, except for those that tasted nice, right?

As a kid, we had no idea medicine was good for us.

Similarly, many things are happening in our life which we don’t like currently. But insyaAllah in the actual, all things have a good underlying reason. Keep having faith in Allah. One day, we will surely find out like how we now are aware that medicines are good for us when we fall sick.
