Believing in the existence of afterlife is a good thing. It pushes us to always do good and distance ourselves from bad things. We know that when we commit a bad deed, we can’t get away scot free even if no one sees us doing it. On top of that, we know that when we commit a good deed, we will be rewarded even when no one witnesses us doing it. That teaches us Sincerity. We know that there’s an omniscient entity meticulously and continuously monitoring our actions. That helps us to negate any iota of Arrogance.
