Once, Prophet Muhammad, as the one who was holding the highest leadership post amongst Muslims, was passing by his companions.

Seeing him walking in front of them, they stood up out of great respect for him. Seeing them doing that, Prophe…t Muhammad expressed his discomfort to them. He told them politely to sit back.

Prophet Muhammad preached on humility and he practised it. As the ruler of all Muslims in his time, never once he put on expensive or super grand clothes. He always put on a commoner’s attire. His house could never be spotted by a stranger beacuse it seemed like the house of a commoner.

Once, one of his companions carried an old man to him. He told Muhammad that the old man wanted to see him. Immediately, Prophet Muhammad said to him: “Why couldn’t you have told me about him? I would have come to him instead of him coming to me.”

Nowadays, it’s almost impossible that a big leader would go personally to an old man just to pay him a visit because the old man desires to meet him.

It would be good if this world has many big people like Muhammad. The world would surely be a much bettter abode for all living things. (: (:
