Whenever we want to do something not that good, remember our parents. Whenever we want to do something not that right and it involves a second or third party, remember that person’s parents. When you want to beat someone, would you still beat him in front of your or his parents? When you (a Muslim guy) want to touch a Muslim girl, would you still touch her in front of her parents? Parents have been protecting their children since their childbirth. Surely they don’t want to see bad things happening to their children. And when you (a Muslim guy) dare to touch a Muslim girl, you dare to commit bad things behind 2 parents: hers and yours (and I’m talking about practising Muslim parents here). Be strong. If you really like her and she feels the same way, the best solution is marriage, but if time doesn’t permit it, practise patience. It’s not easy, but that’s Islam. See this: logically, if you dare to have a bf-gf relationship which clearly transgresses Allah’s boundaries, what could prevent you from having a secret affair when you’ve gotten married one day?? Islam has always been about ‘prevention is better than cure’.
