last week i have read IF YOU REALLY WANT TO DISOBEY ALLAH… and i know i shouldn't disobey. i used to perform solat but now i keep on disobey (not solat) although the guilt are increased. i haven't repent on my other sins and now i have increase it. i realise i should beg for Allah's forgiveness. but i am too ashamed of myself. i don't know what to ask for. i just wanted to share what i'm currently going through.

Salam to you. :)

Guilt and regret shows that Iman still sits in your heart, Alhamdulillah. We all should be ashamed of ourselves for our sins, however, this should not be the reason to stay away from Him. In contrast, we should seek for His forgiveness, for He is the Most Merciful and Forgiving.

Allah says in Al- Baqarah “Allah loves those who repent and He loves those who purify themselves.”

My sincere advice to you, change your attitude and discipline yourself. Set your priorities and goals. Our ultimate goal as a Muslim would be to survive this world and attain Jannah in the hereafter, insyaAllah. Take one step at a time. Ask for His forgiveness, and perform the Wajib. Perform the 5 daily prayers, for a start. :)

Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. [29:45]

Yes, I did say take one step at a time. But don’t take too much time, for we do not know how much of it do we have left..

Brother/Sister, our hearts goes to you for we sincerely love you for Allah. If you have any inquiries, problems that you wish to share or get opinions on, just drop us a message. Leave an email, if you want us to respond to you privately.

May Allah makes it easy for you and all of us. Amin.

ps. surrounding yourself with good company helps.
