May the people who died due to acts of cruelty or absence of justice are experiencing the pleasures offered in their graves and will get Paradise one day. Our supplication will always be offered to God for you and there’s no barrier between the sounds of our hearts and God. O people who died due to acts of cruelty or absence of justice, be happy in your new world..

Islamic Way of Slaughtering

Why is Islamic Way of Slaughtering is so Brutal ?

Research: Islamic Slaughtering and Western method of Slaughtering.

Let’s begin with a small introduction with the term HALAAL

What is Halaal ( حلال )?

Halal is an Arabic word meaning lawful or permitted. The opposite of halal is HARAAM (حرام), which means unlawful or prohibited. Halal and haram are universal terms that apply to allfacets of life. However, we will use these terms only in relation to food products, meat products, cosmetics, personal care products, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, and food contact materials.

While many things are clearly halal or haram, there are some things which are not clear. Further information is needed to categorize them as halal or haram. Such items are often referred to asmashbooh, which means doubtful or questionable.

All foods are considered halal except the following (which are haram):
Swine/Pork and its by-products - Read more on WHY PORK IS PROHIBITED
Animals improperly slaughtered or dead before slaughtering
Alcoholic drinks and intoxicants Carnivorous animals, birds of prey and certain other animals Foods contaminated with any of the above products,

Foods containing ingredients such as gelatin, enzymes, emulsifiers, and flavors are questionable (mashbooh), because the origin of the seingredients is not known.

Let’s now move into the topic.

The Islamic practice of slaughtering animals by means of a sharp cut to the front of the neck has frequently come under attack by some animal rights activists as being a form of animal cruelty, the claim being that it is a painful in human method of killing animals. In the West, it is required by law to stun the animals with a shot to the head before the slaughter, supposedly to render the animal unconscious and to prevent it from reviving before it is killed so as not to slow down the movement of the processing line. It is also used toprevent the animal from feeling pain before it dies.

German Research Studies Pain,

It therefore may come as a surprise to those who have made such acclimations to learn of the results of a study carried out by Professor Wilhelm Schulzeand his colleague Dr. Hazim at the School of Veterinary Medicine, Hannover University in Germany. The study: ‘Attempts to Objectify Pain and Consciousness in Conventional (captive boltpistol stunning) and Ritual (halal, knife) Methods of Slaughtering Sheep and Calves’ concludes that Islamic slaughtering is the most humane method of slaughter and that captive bolt stunning, practiced in the West, causes severe pain to the animal.

In the study, several electrodes were surgicallyimplanted at various points of the skull of allanimals, touching the surface of the brain. Theanimals were allowed to recover for several weeks. Some animals were then slaughtered by making a swift, deep incision with a sharp knife on the neck cutting the jugular veins and thecarotid arteries as well as the trachea andesophagus (Islamic method). Other animals werestunned using a Captive Bolt Pistol (CBP). During the experiment, an electroencephal ograph (EEG) and anelectrocardiogram (ECG) recorded the condition of the brain and the heart of all animals during the course of slaughter and stunning.

The results were as follows:

I – Islamic Method When you slaughter in Islamic way the blood is drained from the flesh, where as other method ofkilling clots the blood and 45 percent of the blood remains in the flesh, hence eating such meat is highly dagerous to health, especially kids.

1. The first three seconds from the time of Islamic slaughter as recorded on the EEG did not show any change from the graph before slaughter, thus indicating that the animal did not feel any painduring or immediately after the incision.

2. For the following 3 seconds, the EEG recorded acondition of deep sleep - unconsciousness. This is due to the large quantity of blood gushing out from the body.

3. After the above-mentioned 6 seconds, the EEG recorded zero level, showing no feeling of pain atall.

4. As the brain message (EEG) dropped to zero level, the heart was still pounding and the body convulsing vigorously (A reflex action of the spinal cord) driving a maximum amount of blood from the body thus resulting in hygienic meat for the consumer

THIS. People do your research before you claim anything to be harmful or that it should be forbidden.

Studying & Realization

Studying & Realization

Every time I study the beauty of the sky above me and its amazing twinkling stars at night and wonderful effects of the ocean with its calm sound produced as result of oceanic currents, I become more than certain that these things cannot happen or exist by pure natural occurrence. Consequently, this verse will come into my mind:

Chapter 2: Al-Baqarah, verse 164

“Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, the alternation of night and day, the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, the water (rain) which Allah sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein and the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth are indeed signs for people of understanding.”

In some places, you get a bread, throw it to the ground and then roll it on the mud and finally you leave the bread. Soon after that, children and adults alike will run and fight for that one bread!!

While we have been going to the kitchen or toilet, some people have to walk several miles daily just to get a pail full of water.

When we study the life of people who are less fortunate than us, we will understand how blessed our life has been actually. At times, we may have been taking the good things we have for granted. We have to be grateful and learn to stay grateful.

Let’s contribute more to charity and community service. Our life is this world is more than merely making money. Many rich people have trouble sleeping peacefully at night. Why is that so?

Personally, the duty of a rich person is to help at least one poor guy. If this is practised by many, we may be able to eliminate poverty.. maybe one day. (:

“Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both deny?”

Hijab.. :(

Please get back to Usul Fiqh. Find out the reasons Islam prescribes Hijab to women.

“Beautified for men is the love of things they covet; women, children, much of gold and silver (wealth), branded beautiful horses, cattle and well-tilled land. This is the pleasure of the present world’s life; but Allah has the excellent return (Paradise with flowing rivers, etc.) with Him.” - 3 : 14

Women = Men’s first weakness

If you’re wearing the hijab because of Allah, cover your body properly. You shouldn’t be putting on short veil such that it reveals your chest and back body. You shouldn’t be wearing a tight shirt or t-shirt such that it reveals your waistline. You shouldn’t be putting on tight jeans or even worse leggings such that they reveal your thighs and calves.

If you’re doing any of that, I’m sorry to say this, but you’re not putting on the hijab the Islam way.

The main reason Islam prescribes hijab is so that you wouldn’t be attracting unwanted attention from strangers.

In 24 : 30, Allah has told Men to lower their gaze. Some people rebut this saying that it’s alright or it’s a nature for men to look at women.

How do we feel when our mother is oogled by strangers, especially men?
How do we feel when our sister is oogled by strangers, especially men?
How do we feel when our daughter is oogled by strangers, especially men?

Do we say.. “Ooh, never mind, it’s alright. It’s their (men) nature to look at my wife (daughter or sister)??” Do we say that??

Strangers, or women, exist as a test for men.
Strangers, or men, exist as a test for women.

In 24 : 30, Allah told men to lower their gaze.
In 24 : 31, Allah told women to lower their gaze and cover their body parts, except for the face and 2 palms.

“Dear Muslimah, Hijab.. if you’re really doing it for Allah, I really ask that you cover yourself properly. Do not.. do not.. please do not let men take advantage of you. Do not let men look at you with bad intention. Do not let men enjoy ‘scrutinising’ you. You are beautiful. Reserve your beauty only for your beloved husband.”

Some people say women putting on the hijab are pearls. Maybe it’s true. That’s not important. Let’s talk about Love now.

If you really love your future husband, protect yourselves from now on. Make it a habit. Your beauty is for Him, your husband. If you enjoy letting others seeing your beauty, isn’t that kind of the same as you betraying your love for your future husband? Love your future husband. You can love Him now. (:

I believe the same goes for Boys. Do not flirt. Protect your private part as prescribed in 24 : 30. Do not be too romantic to your girlfriends. Love your future wife. You can love Her now. (:

Assalaamu’alaikum

The Fasting Month, Ramadan

Chapter 2: Al-Baqarah (Cow), verse 183-186

183. O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious).

184. [Observing Saum (fasts)] for a fixed number of days, but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days. And as for those who can fast with difficulty, (e.g. an old man, etc.), they have (a choice either to fast or) to feed a Miskin (poor person) (for every day). But whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And that you fast, it is better for you if only you know.

185. The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan i.e. is present at his home), he must observe Saum (fasts) that month, and whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number [of days which one did not observe Saum (fasts) must be made up] from other days. Allah intends for you ease, and He does not want to make things difficult for you. (He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allah [i.e. to say Takbir (Allahu-Akbar; Allah is the Most Great) on seeing the crescent of the months of Ramadan and Shawwal] for having guided you so that you may be grateful to Him.

186. And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad ) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright.

Assalaamu’alaikum
May Peace Be Unto You
Happy Fasting to All Muslims!! (:
