Dua

Muslims.. don’t stop offering your supplications for our brothers and sisters in faith who are being terrorised, especially in our prayers. Control your sadness and suppress your anger. Have faith that those who died are martyrdoms. And if that’s truly the case, believe me, they are now living in a place far better than ours. They don’t wish to be revived for they now no longer feel afraid or scared. They no longer feel pain. They no longer see people in pain. They no longer suffer. They are.. finally.. free.. heh.

Verily, Allah is the best planner (:

Goodbye OR Assalaamu’alaikum

It’s best if we stop saying ‘goodbye’.

It’s actually an abbreviation for ‘God be with you’. And since it does not originate from Islam, we all should be aware that the ‘God’ here was never originally intended to be referring to Allah.

To our Muslim friends, we say “assalaamu’alaikum” at least.

To our non-Muslim friends, we say “bye” or “see you”.

Assalaamu’alaikum

Islamic Quotes For Women

Islamic Quotes For Women

Men are the Kings of a household. Wives and children must obey him!! Hm.. the wives of Prophet Muhammad were once asked about what Muhammad would usually be doing when he was at home with his wife. The consensus of all of Muhammad’s wives was: “He serves us (me)”. (:

Inspiring Islamic Quotes

Inspiring Islamic Quotes

Be gentle and polite to children. Respect them. They are perhaps much better in the eyes of Allah for they have no sin. Scold them when necessary, but not out of anger. Be compassionate. And if we ever want to correct them, do not beat them. A slight and gentle flick would suffice for they can feel pain. (:

When we are full, it takes hours for us to feel hungry again. But when we’re hungry, it takes seconds for us to not feel the hunger anymore. Subhaanallaah.. Ya Allah You are indeed the most merciful of all!!

We may always be there when our friends need help. They thus regard us a good friend. Question ourselves: are we also there when a family member, especially our parents, needs help? We cannot be a good person until we treat our family in a good manner.

"Whether married or single, it is wise that we return home each day with a hungry stomach. That really helps us to better appreciate our spouse or mum’s cooking" (:

Islamic Wedding Quotes

Don’t turn into a bad person for money. When we possess a big house, a luxurious car and all the branded goods.. what else then can money give us? And do not neglect charity for if we were to do so, have money any benefit to us when we die? Have an intention of making lots of money to help people in need. We are sometimes a medium for God’s help to reach certain people.

Helping Animals or Insects

If we can do it, help a cockroach which is lying on its back body. Flick its body to its original position. It usually does not have the ability to return to its normal standing position and will usually be eventually eaten by ants, which may be a suffering death to it. Being gentle and loving toward animals is also a part of Islam. (:

It should be known that the animals slaughtered today are to be donated or given to the poor. And in Islam, only a few portion is for self consumption. And from this few portion, a Muslim is advised to still give it to neighbours or relatives, Muslims and non-Muslims alike. (: (:

Islamic Wedding Quotes

Islamic Wedding Quotes
It is a human nature to want to shower love and be loved. But at the same time, we must get our intentions right. We shouldn’t want to get married mainly because we want to be served and entertained as though we are the king in the house. The wives of Prophet Muhammad were asked on what Muhammad usually does when he is at home with them. It was a consensus amongst his wives that he would serve and entertain them. Dear Muslims, follow the sunnah. When you’ve become a husband insyaAllah, be like Muhammad. Treat your wife with love and respect. Never beat her, except with a single slight tap or a flick. This is Islam. (: (:

Islamic Wedding Quotes

Islamic Wedding Quotes

Do not get married if you feel your main reason for it is because you need someone to manage your domestic needs. Conversely, learn to manage your domestic needs before getting married. Get married instead when you have found someone whom you believe would be able to help you get closer and closer to Jannah, like waking you up late at night for Tahajjud. Bear in mind that you should also be doing the same thing to your spouse.

Islamic Words Of Wisdom

Islamic Words Of Wisdom

For most of us, unlike in the times of the companions of Prophet Muhammad, we’re living in a place and condition where there’s no one to stand between Allah and us. Be grateful for if this is taken away by Allah from us, we will surely regret and ask Allah to return that freedom once again..

Islamic Words Of Wisdom

Islamic Words Of Wisdom

When we hear bad comments or people talking bad about us, we think first before we decide to feel hurt. Who do those words come from? If they do not come from good people, we should be wise not to feel hurt. After all, insyaAllah good people won’t do such a thing, right? (:

The highest degree of patience is to trade nefariousness with kindness. This is something only a few people are strong enough to do it. Amongst them was Muhammad, the man whom Muslims believe to be the last messenger of God.

(via mydeenmywayoflife)
The best form of trade is to trade kindness with kindness. To give kindness not in the reciprocal form is a noble act which not many people are willing or able to do. That is Ikhlaas. (:

Be humble. Always know the earth we have always been walking on is not ours. The oxygen we’ve been inhaling is not ours. The clean and potable water we’ve been using is not ours. How can we then be arrogant when all these are not ours? If one day God decides to break our 2 thumbs, surely our life will be ‘different’. Think. (:

Sometimes in life, winning isn’t all. To some people, they have learned more valuable things and have changed through some failures. (:

You are a good person when people feel safe with your tongue and hands.

Do good to people who have done something bad to us or at least pray for them. We are super strong if we can do that. (: (:
